No. Our systems use a combination of sediment and catalytic carbon cartridges. We feel that R.O. "strips" water of its natural minerals and leaves you with "dead" water.
Stainless steel is a non-porous material.
Incredibly Durable and Anti microbial. Used in Hospital Operating rooms for this very reason.
Stainless filtration systems can operate safer under water pressure.
The most honest answer is depends on your water conditions, However on average sediment only cartridge every 6 months and a full set gets replaced annually.
The limited lifetime warranty covers the construction of the stainless filtration system itself ( filter heads, connections and canisters).
What is NOT covered are drain valves, pressure gauges, canister o-rings, and electronic meters).
